Why it matters
The briidea BR-159 Salt Chlorine Generator is a salt chlorine generator rated for pools up to 2000 gallons. With the usual headroom it suits pools of about 1,600 gallons in normal use, or 1,300 gallons in a hot climate or with heavy use.
A cell must match its control board's model; salt cells typically last about 3 to 7 years and wear faster when run at high output.
