Why it matters
The Pentair MasterTemp 400,000 BTU Gas Pool Heater is a gas pool heater rated at 400,000 BTU. Before heat losses, that output would raise a 20,000-gallon pool by 10°F in about 4 hours.
Gas heaters heat fast in any weather and suit occasional use or cool shoulder seasons; the gas line and venting are jobs for a licensed installer.
The listing gives dimensions of 36 x 25 x 30 inches and a weight of 65 pounds.
